 Our Theory on Missions
Missions in the Amazon believes that we, as Christians, are called to use our spiritual gifts to be lights to the world (Romans 12).  Whether it be through evangelism, service, healing, teaching, or any other of the many spiritual gifts the Lord gives us, each individual has their own way to impact the world around them.  That is why we feel that by giving a Christian the opportunity to utilize their gift in the Peruvian Amazon, both the villagers and the missionary can be blessed.  We also believe that in this day in age, with the economy the way it is, that the experience you will have should speak for itself.  With this in mind, we strive to require only the bare minimum in costs so that you can see our mission field for yourself.  We treasure donations and definitely need support, but we also know that the Lord will provide.  So, if in your heart you feel lead to give to our ministry, we will be more than grateful to accept; but, we also feel that your time and sacrifice is another form of donation and would love to have you as a part of our ministry.
What Your Donations Will Go Towards
Materials to build churches (currently 10 churches waiting to be built)
 Materials for the new orphanage
Food, medicine, and supplies for villages and church members
Event funding: Congreso, Christmas toys, special presentations, holiday celebrations, Men/Women/Teenager Conferences

As a Missionary - What Your Monthly Costs Go Towards
 All of your food
Your travel expenses and shelter during your stay
Any external supplies that may be needed (such as hammocks, bug spray, etc.)
 We Pride Ourselves On:
Requiring only the necessary costs to survive while on your mission trip.  We know that if you come, you will see that we funnel all of our funds, donations, and support directly into our ministry.  Unlike other organizations, there are no external costs in which we must support.  In our blog page many of our past missionary's experiences can be seen (along with their emails if you would like to know more about their trip).  All donations go directly into our work and a letter of what your money goes towards will be given to you.
If you are interested in donating, please fill out the contact information and notify us that you are wanting to donate.  Our representative will get in touch with you shortly with more information!

  • Want more details!?!...just ask through our contact us page!

  • Thanks to everyone who kept the Congreso and the ministry team in your prayers.  The event was once again a huge success with over 1500 villagers from 18 different villages attending the 4 day long celebration.  In all, over 150 of the participants were baptized and hundreds of villagers committed their lives to Christ.  To help run the event, a team consisting of 60 members from 6 different countries traveled up the Amazon River for a week they would never forget.  Through spending time sharing the love of God through speakers, medical aid, children's ministries, and simply interacting with the villagers, lives were touched and everlasting memories were made.  We would love to have you be a part of next years Congreso XII!  So check out the photo gallery and other pages and get in contact with us if you are interested!  It is also our desire to get a large group together for the following summer (2011) for a 1-2 month mission trip (probably from the first of July until the middle of August).  We are planning on building several churches and visiting/helping numerous villagers in Jorge's ministry.  If you have a youth group or simply would like to be a part of such a trip, start praying NOW and begin molding and preparing your heart for one of the most amazing experiences of your life!
