Missions in the Amazon's Purpose & Path

"To evangelize to the villages far away by sharing the Word of God with strong foundations in faith."

      Our Mission Field

The Peruvian Amazon is a very large area where there are thousands of villages connected by rivers.  Through the use of versatile boats and canoes, we are able to travel up the Amazon River and make our way down various rivers like the Maranon, Ucayali, Chambira, and Huallage to reach the villages within our ministry.
Our ministry has committed to spread the Gospel to as many villages as possible.  Currently we have planted churches in 30 villages in the past 20 years and are waiting for the resources to build 10 more.  Because we believe so strongly in the importance of sharing the Good News to the native villagers, we are constantly seeking out new villages despite limited human and economical support.  We are in a time of Harvest and we know you can be instruments to do the Lord's work along with us; if only you will be willing to make the sacrifice & join us in our cause.

                Our Objective

To establish a solid relationship with churches and people of the United States that have a heart for missions in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest.  Through forming a relationship, we hope to reveal the true Amazon to Christians who seek mission work & are desiring to travel to Peru for any amount of time; whether it be 3-6 months or even years.  We are open to any individuals, families, or groups wanting to make a lasting impact on the Peruvian people, through building churches and community health centers, and integrating into their lives and helping with everyday work.  We can also do Crusades where we can unite 8 - 10 villages for 1 - 2 days in a strategic place to train them in the Word and to do unique tasks.

     Our Congregation
It is very important for our churches within the Amazon to be united in their beliefs and faith.  We encourage them to have a prayer service in the mornings on Monday - Friday.  Every village has a church service on Sunday mornings while most of the villages also have services on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights filled with praise and scripture reading.  Our congregations also hold monthly prayer vigils that last long into the morning hours.  We strongly believe in the power of prayer and along with the echoes of praise throughout the jungle, these events create strong interest amongst the other villagers.  Jorge, along with the missionaries that join him, travel to each of these villages once a year to encourage and counsel them in their spiritual walk.  It is for these trips into the jungle that we want youth (ages 17-25) to volunteer their time.  We are confident that you will experience God within the jungle and truly value the integration with the villagers.
